COVID-19 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RESIDENTS

PUBLIC HEALTHCARE INSTITUTION JAJCE HEALTH CENTRE

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RESIDENTS FOLLOWING THE EMERGENCE OF

COVID-19 INFECTION

1. Follow hygiene measures (wash your hands regularly with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, or disinfect your hands)

2. When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a disposable paper tissue or your bent elbow. If using a disposable tissue, put it in a waste bin immediately after use and wash your hands straight away.

3. Avoid close contact with people who have respiratory symptoms, a cold or a flu-like illness. Also avoid large gatherings and spending time in large groups. When shopping in stores or carrying out other business at banks, post offices or other premises with many people, keep a distance of at least 2 metres.

4. Protective masks must be worn indoors, and outdoors where a physical distance of at least 2 metres cannot be maintained.

5. Maintain hygiene in your home (through cleaning and ventilation, and, where possible, disinfect objects that you frequently touch with your hands).

6. If you suspect symptoms of illness caused by the novel coronavirus, stay at home and call the following telephone numbers:

030/654 549 available from 07.00 to 15.00

030/654 534 available from 15.00 to 07.00

7. Older residents and people with chronic illnesses should avoid spending time in large groups and enclosed spaces.

8. As the school year begins under the new conditions brought about by this pandemic, parents and teachers are urged to comply with and follow the instructions of the competent authorities and crisis committees on working with children.

We once again urge our residents, children's parents and teachers to strictly follow the recommendations and orders of the crisis committees.
